Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for purchasing from Michaelson Auto. This Refund and Return Policy applies to all used auto parts sold through https://www.michaelsonauto.com/.

1. Used Auto Parts – Important Notice

All parts sold by Michaelson Auto are used automotive parts unless explicitly stated otherwise. Used parts may show signs of normal wear and are sold as described at the time of sale.

2. Returns – Used Auto Parts

  • All returns require prior authorization. No returns will be accepted without approval.

  • Return requests must be made within 30 days of the purchase date.

  • Parts must be returned in the same condition as sold, including:

    • Not damaged

    • Not altered or modified

    • Properly drained of fluids

  • Installed or attempted installations void return eligibility, unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, unless the return is due to an error by Michaelson Auto.

  • Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

  • A restocking fee may apply based on the part type and condition.

All returned parts are subject to inspection before approval.

3. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Parts that have been installed, test-fitted, or altered

  • Electrical and electronic components

  • Special-order or custom parts

  • Parts damaged due to improper installation or misuse

  • Parts returned without authorization or outside the return window

4. Warranty Coverage vs. Refunds

  • Used parts may include a limited warranty as outlined here:

  • Warranties provide replacement of the part only, not refunds.

  • Labor, towing, diagnostic, or installation costs are not covered and are non-refundable.

  • Refunds are not issued for warranty claims once a part has been installed or used.

  • All warranty claims must follow the procedures described in the warranty policy.

5. Incorrect or Defective Parts

If you receive an incorrect part or a part that does not match the invoice:

  • You must notify Michaelson Auto within 48 hours of delivery

  • Photos and documentation may be required

Michaelson Auto will determine whether a replacement, store credit, or refund is appropriate.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

  • Refunds are processed within 10–15 business days after inspection and approval.

  • Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

7. No Guarantee of Fitment

Customer is responsible for verifying part compatibility prior to purchase. Vehicle fitment, interchange, and compatibility are not guaranteed, and incorrect ordering does not constitute a defect.
